American Founders Heritage Select 250 Bourbon
-
Our craft bourbon is a seven-year-old wheated cask-strength bourbon. Featuring 70% Kentucky-grown corn, mixed with 21% wheat, and closing with 9% malted barley. Our bourbon is rich with a golden-amber hue. Your taste buds will pick up hints of orange peel, apricot, and cinnamon. A balanced toffee-and-pastry feel will follow.
-
The 7-year wheated bourbon leads with a peach and caramel aroma coupled with apricot and cinnamon. On the palate you’ll find toffee, pastry and hazelnut that guide toward a honeyed finish that’s smooth and balanced. The wheated expression lends itself to easy drinking while holding its own distinct character.

After working with the Lofted Spirits team and the team at Bardstown Bourbon Company, we decided on a small batch from Green River Whiskey. We have produced a limited release of 250 collector commemorative oak boxes with handmade artisan, period-correct pewter adornments. Each oak box will include a numbered certificate of authenticity signed by both partners of Founder’s Revolution 250 LLC.
Coming January 2026.
The Collection
Our Kentucky bourbon is selected and delivered in a limited annual collector series. The annual bourbon collector series will boast time-period pieces to make your drinking experience memorable. Thank you for being a part of our Founder’s Revolution 250 select community.
Your Collector’s Series comes presented in a handcrafted Red Oak box, etched with the American Founders Heritage Select Bourbon crest. Inside, you’ll find a set of artisan, hand-made pewter Jefferson cups and a bottle of American Founders Heritage Select 250 Kentucky Bourbon, crowned with a hand-crafted Federal Eagle bottle topper.
We ask you to please relax, sit back, find a friend, and take the time to have a sip of American Founders Heritage Select 250 Bourbon. Take a moment and go back in time to remember those who gave us so much 250 years ago.
Coming January 2026.
Meet the Founders
Dr. Bruce Lautenschlager is an inventor, author, and entrepreneur, and has been involved in many businesses over the years. As a history buff, Bruce was aware of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) society. To become a member, his genealogy had to be traced and proven to show that he was related to a Revolutionary patriot. In April 2025, Bruce was inducted into the John Martin Chapter of his local SAR.
As the SAR celebrates our nation’s Revolutionary history and honors the patriots who served and secured our freedom, Bruce wanted to find his own way to commemorate America’s patriots. With the nation’s 250-year celebration beginning in 2026, he felt inspired to profile, celebrate, and recognize those patriots.
Allen Hayne co-founded this business to honor his ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War and to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. For Allen, bourbon is more than a spirit; it’s a vessel for heritage, history, and gratitude toward the freedoms we enjoy as Americans.
Before entering the world of bourbon, Allen dedicated 39 years to education in Indiana. He served as a teacher, swimming coach, Dean of Students, principal, and ultimately retired as a school superintendent. His personal connection to American history runs deep, with multiple relatives traced back to the Revolutionary War. He is also an active member of the Sons of the American Revolution, carrying forward his family’s legacy of patriotism.

Honoring Our Nation’s History
Founders Bruce and Allen accepted membership in the SAR in April of 2025. Shortly after joining the SAR organization, they discovered all the planned activities for the America 250 Celebration. This is a huge event that deserves something to honor our ancestors and patriots who fought for us 250 years ago. These Patriots established the framework for the freedom, liberty, and independence we enjoy today. Bless our ancestors and their vision.
What better way to recognize them than raising a glass of American Founder’s Heritage Select 250 Kentucky Bourbon? Enjoy!
